10am: RADICAL IMAGINING of DESIGN INDUSTRY, Keynote + Q&A
The recent crises offer immediate opportunities to seek solutions through circular systems, transparency, responsible and sustainable action, and regenerative approach.
Circular thinking means smart, strategic use of resources and interconnecting systems to achieve circularity to regenerate materials. What value can we add to the industry with a new generation of creative power? Re-defining the status, the skills and mindset of design professionals is crucial. Essentially, we need to dissect the long-standing roles and business models and fully exploit the directions for the next generation adopting a more innovative and entrepreneurial outlook with environmental impact, social responsibility, and active consumers at heart. It is time to create the new systems for post-Covid creative industry!

Designers hold the power to make better, more impactful choices through design and material. Learn more on alternative materials, sourcing and how to measure materials and product impact.
