Official website

The STF – Schweizerische Textilfachschule – offers a creative working space for textile start-ups and fashion professionals: a shared infrastructure, sparking mutual inspiration and encouraging to move forward together.

This initiative targets young start-up from the fashion scene, graphic designer and labels that are looking for an attractive workplace in the heart of Zurich with high-quality infrastructure and textile machines available to use.

Makerspace
The STF-Makerspace is comparable to a FabLab, with a focus on textile processing, offering the right industrial machines and professional advice. After an introduction, special machines can be booked and controlled on site and sometimes directly from home. This way, designers can use effectively the time at the machine and control the costs.

Incubator
The Incubator is the start-up centre of the STF. The advantages of joining an incubator is to benefit from knowledge transfer, mutual inspiration, advice, coaching, development of network structures and synergies, increasing the survival rate of young labels and the use of existing infrastructure and service equipment. The incubator offers working desks for working with various membership offers as well as an educational programme that goes far beyond textile processing.

Various attractive memberships are detailed on STF’s webpage.
