Geneva based bureau svdp is specialised in exhibition design within the cultural field.

The initials svdp stand for Sacha Von Der Potter, a fictional character imagined by scenographer Manon Pavlowksy and Célia Sozet, both graduated from HEAD-Geneva. Founded in 2011, the design practice-studio’s expertise ranges exhibition design, signage design, stand design, showcase design and custom-made furniture design. They are collaborating with a wide range of partners from important cultural institutions (Haute école spécialisée de Suisse occidentale, UNHCR, various festivals…) to fashion boutiques, concept stores or individuals. Furthermore, they often give workshops in different schools such as HEAD—Geneva or EPFL.

In parallel with their studio practice, from 2016 to 2018, Marion Pavlowksy, and Célia Sozet also initiated and curated Strawberry Fields – a series of short-term exhibitions where they presented emerging talents that all share a special bond with Geneva.

For the second year in a row, bureau svdp is in charge of the exhibition design for Pro Helvetia’s presence at Palazzo Litta. Last year, the duo imagined a colorful palm grove and pop elements for the Palazzo’s courtyard garden for the SWISS ❤ DESIGN presentation. This year’s exhibition Design Switzerland will take place in the Palazzo’s teatro – the most ancient Milanese theater still in operation – where visitors will be invited to come on stage to experience the exhibited projects.
