“Do not like the others do” is the philosophy of SUPERLIFE. Endowed with playful names such as Nestor, Babar or Little Sister, their items add a touch of uniqueness to objects of everyday use.

The collective SUPERLIFE was founded in 2014 by two young Swiss designers: Edrris Gaaloul and Cyrille Verdon. They are based in a former forge in Yverdon, left to Edrris by his father. The two transformed the building into an office and workshop and installed machinery tailored to the needs of their projects.

Their first successful product was Nestor,  a hook that, when not used practically to hang a coat, towel or hat, serves as a wall decoration, embodying the spirit behind their creations: well thought out, functional, durable and able to significantly improve everyday life.

In 2017, SUPERLIFE launched their first collection produced entirely in Switzerland and started selling their creations in shops all around the world. They have been awarded with the grand prize of the 10th International Design Biennale of Saint-Etienne, and are currently working on the interior design of a new concept of hotels, to open in Switzerland in 2019.

At Design Switzerland, the duo will be presenting a selection of their products, all visible in the image gallery below:  Octave, Nestor, Babar, Little Sister and Medusa.
